Literature Courses

Unusually for a language school, we are able to offer very high level literature courses. Both William and Lynette are English Literature Graduates with experience of teaching to University level, and of training teachers.

Tuition is provided on poetry, drama and prose from the Anglo-Saxon to the Modern period. We aim to widen the students' knowledge of the material and to teach analysis skills so that it can be understood and enjoyed. We also help teachers to prepare materials suitable for using with their own students.
